In an article from the “Ruhr-Universität Bochum”, Prof. Dr. Eike Steinmann and his team describe that surfaces can be infectious with coronaviruses for up to 9 days. A person touches their face 23 times within an hour after which they can then become infected from contaminated surfaces for as long as 9 days.

How It Works

Our itCoating H 610 and itCoating K 630 V products have three excellent functional properties:

  1. The pore-tight surface prevents diffusion of encapsulated viruses such as influenza and coronavirus.
  2. The specially achieved surface tension of the paint ensures that the hydrophilic membranes of the virus sheath cannot adhere to the surface or can only adhere very ineffectively.
  3. The biologically active compounds anchored within itCoating attack the virus capsule. As a result, the virus capsule becomes porous so that the viruses are destroyed and can no longer cause an infection.

Easy To Use

Use is simple and uncomplicated. To treat door latches, for example, all you need is a commercially available microfiber cloth. Wet it with itCoating and wipe it over the door latch. For larger surfaces such as doors, we recommend a standard window wiper with a microfiber covering.
